Pool opening, what we do:

1) Remove the pool cover (if you chose that option).

2) Depending on the type of cover and the amount of precipitation over the last few months, start the fill water. If we closed your pool we will check the water level, this will tell us if your pool is losing water. The winter precipitation should have raised it if it is at or below the closing level it is a good indicator of a leak in the body of the pool (lines and skimmers were plugged).

3) Install all the plugs at the equipment pad, remove all the plugs in the pool (skimmers and returns) and install the light(s). Install ladders and handrails, maybe the diving board (if removed).

4) Start up the pool pump (fingers crossed). Check for leaks and light the heater. We will run the heater while we put the cover and plugs away and brush down or vacuum the pool (optional). If you chose to have your pool vacuumed and it is dark green, we will treat the water and return in a few days to vacuum.

If all is well we clean up, turn off the heater (unless you request to leave it on), shock the pool, and your 2021 pool season has started.

Please let us know ahead of time if there are any repairs that need to be made, the opening crew carries the bare minimum with them as the trucks are full of equipment for openings. We will add to the truck if you know what you need, if not we will schedule the service crew to check it out. Please be aware, if your pump will not start or the pool has lost most of its water or the plumbing is broken we will not open the pool, after contacting you, we will schedule our service crew to make the repairs and then we will open your pool ( this will delay your pool opening).

Weekly service contracts have these costs included (pool opening/closing)

• Install equipment plugs and assorted parts
• Pump basket, salt generator)/remove winterizing plugs.

• Start pool check equipment for leaks or damage, start heater (test run)
• Start pool cleaner (test run)/ Shut off equipment
• Remove pool cover/ Install pool cover (Cost depending on the type of cover)
• Add chemicals as needed (not included)

Deposits ensure that your pool remains a top priority. Without a deposit, you may lose your scheduled opening date. Please keep in mind that weather conditions are not in our control and may affect our schedule.
